So my friend is looking into getting an ASUS R7250-1GD5 graphics card for playing his games, I need to know if this card will work with the Pentium(R) Dual core cpu e5300 2.6ghz 2603 mhz and if not what is the best processor to get to match the Asus card for the best price. Thanks!

The CPU is certainly aging, and you will be CPU limited in most games. However for the majority you will still have playable framerates. It will work fine.

If you want a better experience, you should see if you can pick up one of the following for cheap from say, ebay.
Q9650 > Q6700 > Q6600.

These are quad core processors, and they can be found for relatively cheap online now. (Q6700 can be found for ~$30)
