Is the Hyper 212 Evo compatible with the Maximus VII Hero?

Hi!

So I've been considering getting the Asus Maximus VII Hero for a build of mine, but I'm cautious of the heatsinks, and whether or not they'll get in the way of a Hyper 212 Evo.

What do you guys think? Do you think the board's heatsinks will be able to play nice with the size and shape of the Evo?

Thanks!

EDIT (clarification if needed): I am speaking about the heatsinks surrounding the cpu socket, not the RAM heatsinks.

That's optional. You can do a custom water loop but is annoying because you have to measure everything and buy all the pieces, also needs maintenance and if it leaks your components may die.
It might only affect temps by 1-2 degrees at max if you shift up the fan on the cooler slightly.

Cool! :D

Is this due to the fact that the fan is just a tiny bit wider than the heatsink (so as to be able to be mounted onto it), thus causing it to bump up a little bit against the heatsinks surrounding the cpu socket on the motherboard?

Interesting. Will the slight displacement of the cooling fan affect temperatures in any way?

Also, is it sort of standard to use some sort of liquid cooling mechanism on the Vii Hero? Every build I see that integrates the Vii Hero involves some sort of liquid cooling.
