Hey guys. (and happy new year! i hope lol)
I have HD502IJ disk, that worked just fine, before i messed up creating partition with the starting sectors that contained bad sectors.
First, when it was ok, i had 30gb unallocated space on the beginning of drive , where first ~70mb was ok, then ~15gb was almost all BS, and 15gb was clear and not in use.
Disk lived thru 2 PCs, one bad power supply, but everything worked great (no new BADs detected). - so i know it is operational
Currently im sitting on XP on my other HDD (which have bootmbr on it), so PC is working.
I wanted to take that 15gb of free space, becose i am really short on space, so i started fiddling with MiniTool Partition Wizard, but something happened, operations "couldnt finish" and now:
-I can't see it in windows Disk management
-I can see it in Device manager (as no errors)
-In partition wizard disk is listed as "Bad Disk"
Please put me on the right tracks - how i can repair it? (if i could just write new MBR as if the disk is empty (new), i could reformat it and recover some data .. but how?)
