I installed the Asus RT-68U last night in my home and all of my clients are connected to its 5 GHz band except my custom rig...It has the Asus Z-97 Pro with the WiFi AC adapter. Latest drivers and firmware is installed on the router and computer (Windows 7 Pro x64), however it only recognizes the 2.4 GHz band. In addition, it is VERY slow in loading the router's webpage, while every other pc loads it instantaneously.

Any ideas??

Have you tried rolling back to an older driver? It's possible that the latest driver has a regression. Also, check the advanced settings in the wireless adapter to see if there's anything about enabling/disabling 5GHz (802.11na)
