Why am i getting low fps with Gtx 970?

Here is my Heaven benchmark score, with just +150 Mhz on coreclock and +500 Mhz on Memoryclock:

Its not a bad score at all, so why am i not getiing consistent 60 fps in crysis 3? My fps drop to 30 for a milllisecond whenever a new area is loaded. Also im not getting good fps with Farcry 4, they bump into 40's on max setting every now and then. Is there something wrong with my pc or are these games badly optimized? Help me guys

to keep it short and sweet: Crysis 3 is a very demanding game when it comes to graphics. you need a top end card to get 60 FPS. I'm running 2 R9 290x in crossfire and they still sweat when put the game to max settings.

Farcry 4 on the other hand doesn't require as much VRAM and it's the same engine as Farcry 3.

you can see the differences by just looking at the textures in the games, Crysis 3 is far more detailed.

Why does it happen in Farcry 4 then? Why cant i get 50 steady fps in it and the game stutters like hell

There has been a lot of problems with farcray 4 and nvidia drivers not being optimized. a 970 should be able to handle it no problem, try lower the settings until you find a sweet spot and the change one at a time to see what's causing the fps drop. maybe you have the post processing too high.

Ill try that, but ive seen people on youtube with rigs worse than mine running it on ultra settings
