Hey guys, I'm trying to build a new gaming PC,and kind of on a budget.I'm wondering if this setup can run games like BF4 smoothly. And if you guys could give me some advice, that'd be awesome (Not going to OC btw)

Specs:
MOBO: ASUS B85 Pro Gamer
CPU: Intel core i5-4690 @ 3.50 GHz
RAM : Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 8GB ( 2x4GB ) DDR3
GPU: Palit Nvidia GTX 970 JetStream 4GB ( 256 Bit ) DDR5
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200 RPM
SSD: Corsair Force LX 128GB
PSU: Sharkoon WPM 700W - 80 Plus Bronze - Single Rail - 140mm fan - Modular PSU

And oh, I'm currently using my old Dell E2011H monitor, it's a 1600x900 monitor, so should I get a new monitor along with the new PC?

Solution
Yes - you'll absolutely crush any game with a GTX 970 on 1600x900 resolution. Even on a standard 1080p monitor you'll have no trouble. You'll only start to really be limited when you pick up a 120hz+ monitor, or something with higher resolution (1440p or 4k). Even then, things will run with settings turned down a bit.
