Ok so I have problems with my pc over the last couple of months. My original power supply was a TX750 I believe, and worked fine until about a couple of months earlier. My computer would not properly shut down, so my monitor would be off but the rest of the computer was still on. The mouse would still have the light on, my case would still have a red light indicating it was on, etc. Then I started having reboots, which led to I believe this message. "Anti-Surge has detected a power surge!" So the psu was shipped to Corsair so a warranty RM750 came my way. I still had the problem where my computer would not shut off unless I turned off the power switch. And now the reboots are back, and I do not want the new power supply to break. Coming across several threads, some say the cause is a motherboard problem with Sabertooth Z77 as a glitch. It seems I need to update ASUS BIOS but I don't know how exactly. If anyone can help or guide as to how I update ASUS BIOS or if they're other solutions, please reply how.
