ok so when I play single player in arma 3 I get a solid 60 fps on ultra with no lag but when I go onto multiplayer it instantly goes down to 20-30fps and it seems like its stuck. Even if I switch the video settings I cant get more fps. My specs amd fx 9370 vishera @ 4.4 ghz 10-30 degress Celsius NVidia gtx 760 700 w gigabyte ud3 16gb ram and 2tb hard drive

DO NOT think that you are going to get 60 fps in arma 3 (or any arma for that matter) multiplayer by buying a better CPU or GPU. you will get a few more fps maybe, but you will not be able to run it on 60 fps, becase the game has DESIGN FLAWS. it utilizes a small fraction of your CPU and GPU and is not designed to use multicore CPUs. you can test to what i am saying by installing a performance monitor software and see how low your CPU/GPU load is and on how low temperatures they run while playing arma 3 multiplayer. than go try the same test on battlefield 4 and see your CPU/GPU load while playing battlefield 4 multiplayer. this will lead you to the conclusion that arma 3 is a game with design flaws and prevent you from spending thousands of USD on overpriced hardware. do the tests for yourself, it sucks but its the truth. arma 3 is an unoptimized piece of garbage.

intel has better and more expensive CPUs, captain obvious. arma 3 cannot utilize amd or intel CPUs, because it is a game with design flaws. dont give bs advice to people and make them waste money on overpriced hardware. there are people with 5000 usd rigs on you tube that cant get any decent fps in arma 3 multiplayer, because arma 3 can only utilize about 20-30% of their hardware.
