Hello everyone.
Yesterday I bought a new video card for my computer, an R9 290.
However, after installing the drivers, the computer starts rebooting randomly. It usually reboots after 15 minutes, but sometimes it works like an hour, and within that hour I can play intensive games like battlefield 3. I even managed to do a complete run with 3dmark benchmark.

I reinstalled operating system, so it isnt drivers.
I constantly checked temperatures and they ranged between 35-45º.

Even one time after a black screen it seemed to recover, but a yellow alert triangle appeared at bottom right inside the bar and everything worked really slow for a bit before rebooting.

Computer specs:

CPU: AMD FX-8120
Ram: 8GB
Motherboard: M5A78L-M LX3
PSU: Sentey 850W 80 plus

I wonder if it is a video card failure and I should get it replaced.

Thanks so much in advance and happy new year!

Random reboots can be a symptom of a failing or inadequate power supply or too much overclock.
As Captainzach suggests, if the system is overclocked, restore it to defaults before looking at hardware issues. This includes uninstalling any tuning software (EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner) and deleting any saved data/profiles when asked.
If you switched from an Nvidia card try using Display Driver Uninstaller: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html download links at the bottom of the article. Uninstall ALL the video drivers through Control Panel, then use DDU in Safe Mode, if needed, once for AMD, once for Nvidia, restarting into Safe Mode each time before restarting normally to install the latest WHQL drivers downloaded from, and only from, the AMD main website.

I never overclocked anything :(, and I formated the system to discard driver problems. Is there a way I could know if it is the power supply?
With gpu-z im getting like a 20w VDDC Power In when idle, and 20-100w range when playing, very strange. However voltages are okay.

Thanks so much in advance!

EDIT: ITS NOW SOLVED. I bought a new motherboard, specifically the Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 and it is now working perfectly. Thanks so much for the previous answers!
