Good 500$-600$ CAD Gpu (dual gpu or single)

right now i have a pc build for about 2000$, but i think my gpu choice is bad. i have chosen 2 r9 290s in crossfire. can someone please tell me a better solution. Thank You

A set of r9 290's in crossfire is killer, even though they cost about as much as a gtx 980, they will perform better. The only thing I would watch out for are the headaches of using multiple gpu's.

unless you're purchasing an earlier model $600 wont be enough for a Quadro or Firepro (these float around $620 on w7000 model). Also 4GB is good place to start.

What resolution were you looking to achieve?

actually, just 1920x1080. but i am playing a lot of heavy games and lots of heavy video editing
