Hi guys!

I live in Australia and am reaching out to tom'sHARDWARE for help on finding a good case and psu for under $100AUD.

I am goiong to be running a Pentium g3258 and a R9 280x (please don't ask about this, just please help with case) so I am expecting a PSU of perhaps 80+ Bronze of around 550W (so ~$60AUD).

For the case, I really require the cheapest (under $40-$50?) case so that I can use the $60 for the PSU. Are there any recommendations for a cheap case with decent airflow for $40AUD?

With the prices down there, that's very unlikely to happen with a PSU of any reliable quality and 550w capacity, unless you include the mail in rebates. At up front costs, the cheapest decent PSU is about 75 bucks considering all offerings on Australian vendor sites from the likes of Antec, EVGA, Seasonic, FSP, XFX, Silverstone and Enermax. It might be possible with a Corsair VS unit, but it's not a great choice of PSU as compared to what we'd normally recommend using in a gaming rig.

If you go with that Cooler master case that Ingtar recommended, which isn't bad by any means, don't get me wrong, however you'll want to also add some fans as it only comes with a single front and a single rear case fan which probably isn't going to provide the level of cooling you really ought to be shooting for on a gaming machine. It would work temporarily though until you could afford to add the additional cooling.
