corporate/government laptops are normally running custom wireless software that would have been installed by your administrator if that is the case you'll have to find it and configure it. They are usually out of date and not very intuitive without seeing it I can't tell you how to set it up. Having said that it may just be using your OS's default wireless client which I'm assuming is windows 7. If that is the case then you can get information on it directly from Microsoft at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/view-connect-available-wireless-networks#1TC=windows-7
