Ok guys,
After playing a game (recently Far Cry 4) for about 2 hours, my PC has been shutting down, sometimes with a blue screen but usually not. Event viewer always gives me error 41, just saying that the machine was powered down incorrectly. When it shuts down, the machine tries to restart itself, fails once, and restarts with no problems on the second attempt. This was happening before my recent graphics card upgrade, when I was running 2 550ti's sli, and has continued after the upgrade.
Now, I am aware that the RM 750 and 850 have had some issues in the past where the fan wouldn't kick on before it auto shutdown, but mine is from a later batch than the one that was recalled, so that problem should have been fixed.
Is there a way I can determine which component is causing the issue? my psu doesn't support voltage or temperature reporting as far as I can tell, so I can't think of a way of determining if that's the problem. Any help or insight anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
