Weird situation...a wooden picture frame hanging above my PC fell and hit my computer case. Now my PC will not turn on at all after previously working fine.
The motherboard is a Maximus VII Ranger.
The 'START' button on the motherboard lights up but nothing happens when I press it. No q-code error messages. No fan movement. No activity at all.
I have completely removed the motherboard from the case, placed it on some cardboard and attempted to start it with the bare minimums with no luck. Its almost like it is not getting power but I am confused as to why the 'start' button and other LEDs light up. The PSU is about 4 years old so maybe its just that.
I don't have another PSU to test it with.
Any suggestions before I drop some money on a new PSU?
