How does one fix this? Currently connected to PC via HDMI to HDMI-DVI Adapter, recently downloaded updated graphics driver (GeForce GT 620) and have tried several different resolutions, all to no avail. Text still blurry.

I too have a view sonic monitor. Even I faced the same problem. The problem is if you connect your monitor using HDMI cable, the GPU recognizes the monitor as a HDTV which eventually disable "Auto Image Adjust" option from your menu. To eliminate this problem you can either use the VGA port or the DVI port itself. Don't connect the cable to HDMI port of the Graphic card.

My Viewsonic, which I am using as a second monitor, has two ports on the back: HDMI and VGA. My CPU has two ports also: HDMI and DVI. MY main monitor is conncected via HDMI to HDMI. NO problems there. When I connect my Viewsonic via a VGA with a VGA to DVI adapter, I get the blue screen with my desktop faintly visible behind it. I have tried the same cord with my main monitor and it works fine, so I don't believe it is the cord. The only thing it seems to be pointing to is the VGA connection on the back of my Viewsonic. Unless I am missing something??????? That is why I went with the HDMI to DVI cord on the Viewsonic. It is the only way that gave my a picture. But everything is blurry! Is is possible the VGA connection could be bad? Or is there something else I could investigate?

Thank you again.

The VGA cable you used might be faulty. Borrow a VGA cable from someone and try.

Yea the VGA port in your monitor will be faulty. Give your Monitor for service and get the VGA port fixed and use the VGA cable to connect your monitor

OK, thank you. I've tried three different VGA cords now and get the same blue screen with desktop faintly in the background. Seems like a service call is in order.
