unable to delete any file or folder from micro sd card

Im having a sandisk ultra 64 gb micro sdxc1 card. I was using it in my samsung galaxy duos i9082 phone. A few weeks back a serious problem has come up with this card, im not able to delete any file or folder from this card nor it is getting formatted, When I try to format it , it shows that it is write protected,

Hi there and happy new year!

Make sure that the switch for the write protection is on the right position. Also make sure you are logged in as administrator. It seems like this is a common issue.

If the problem is not the switch on the edge of the card and you are trying to manipulate it on a PC it could be the OS you are using. The SDXC cards use a exFAT format. Here are a couple of SanDisk links
