tell me which is best for futureproof processor you know 3930k is extreme level chip and LGA 2011 socket and 4790k is LGA 1150 socket many people says 4790k is best for gaming and better then 3930k because 3930k 3 years old and 4790k is only 10 month old sandy bridge e 3930k pcie 2.0 and 4790k pcie 3.0 what you say pcie 3.0 compare pcie 2.0 in processor debate

4790k as it sets you up for broadwell at the end of the year(hopefully). And its newer, clocked higher,pcie 3.0, motherboards are cheaper... The 3930k is a beast and still does well today but it supplies no futureproofing.
