You cannot copy and paste your OS drive. You will need to do a clean reinstall of Windows 7 from a full installer disk that you can get an image of from Digital River and burn to a DVD. Make sure to get the same version of Ultimate that you currently use (32 bit aka x86 or 64 bit aka x64). Then install it, install the drivers and Windows updates and then activate using your activation key that is on the sticker on your computer.
Save the old HDD and attach it after the installation is done so that you can get your data off the old drive.

Copy and paste doesn't do the same job as a fresh installation or of a cloned system. Windows needs to be installed properly from a disk or a clone made by specialist software.
What exactly have you done and what's the current situation?
