Everytime when i start up a game i get an BSOD.
I can just load the OS and do other things such as watch youtube,
listen to music etc...
It's just everytime when i try to launch a game i get a BSOD
I've heard that it might be my HDD.
But i don't hear any sounds coming from it like ticking or something bumping.

specs of my laptop:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM 2.20 GHz
GPU: NVidia Geforce GT 540M
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB)
HDD: Western Digital WD6400BPVT-22HXZT3 640GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64x Service Pack 1

Solution
Run CCleaner and do the Clean and Registry portions both. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
If that doesn't solve it, run memtest on each stick of RAM individually for at least one full pass. If even one error appears, replace the memory as a set.

Also, start disabling all the TSRs you have in your tray. One of them may be conflicting.
