Alright so here's the deal, I'm only 19 and just started working, so I've got a bit of money i can use to upgrade my system finally, now when i got my first paycheck i got the serious aging things out of the way (psu was dying, and upgraded my gpu).
over Christmas i got a new case for it, and i'm at a point where the only original components are the mobo and cpu, (even replaced the cooler) i know my system is at a stable point now, and that's great, however i'm running a single gpu. i'd LIKE to upgrade to a multi-gpu setup before i upgrade my mobo and cpu, because even though i know they're bottle-necking, i want to make sure the case can cool the 2 cards. but i'm just not sure if my psu can handle 2 cards on it.

the specs for the system are :
psu : EVGA SuperNOVA 750B1 750W ATX12V
gpu : sapphire radeon r9 270
cpu : amd phenom x4 955 (3.2ghz)
mobo : asus m4n75td
cpu cooler : corsair h60
case has 8 140 mm fans in it.

I've also got 3 hdd's and a few peripherals that draw power, but /shouldn't/ be enough to cause a difference, if you want those listed i'd be happy, and my thing is i'm great at putting together core systems, but when we get into this multi-gpu more complicated stuff, it was never explained to me in a way i can understand. I can easily afford the 2nd r9 270,
my real worry is that it'll arrive, and have to upgrade my psu again in under 6 months to use the damned thing.
any tips you guys have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

that psu is not the best and i would upgrade it for any serious dual graphics use.

crossfire is pretty troublesome and not really worth it for a 270. i'd save up a little bit and just get a shiny new gpu capable of making you happy by itself. the gtx 970 of course comes to mind. this card will run easily on your current psu as well if you don't want to upgrade it. it uses little more than your current 270 does!!

again not the best power supply and i would not mess with 2 cards on it. good enough for a single gpu set-up but that's about it.
