I'm trying to run dual monitors off my Radeon 7970 & on board graphics card on Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H 1155 ATX Motherboard.

When I attempt to save my settings on the screen resolution page it says "unable to save display settings"

Anyone know what the issue might be?

In some cases, if your mobo supports it, you can set the primary display to onboard graphics, and the secondary display as your GPU (this will make gaming slower!!!!!). You will have to use Windows "personalize" to set the monitors to multi-monitor display, it won't work for the GPU (AMD).

Ronin - what do you mean by clean install?

Larkspur - I have not. I thought the radeon wouldnt support dual monitors off dvi + vga outputs. I'll give it a shot.

Ronin - i updated the drivers about a week or so ago. I'm not sure what you mean by clean install. Can you elaborate?

I thought i had a VGA output on my card but I only have 2 mini display ports. I'll have to buy a converter to try this.
