New hard drive making clicking noises?

So I just got a new WD Blue 1 Terabyte hard drive and installed it, formatted it and all and begun to transfer files and all was well. Suddenly I heard a faint buzzing. I knelt down next to my desktop confirmed it was coming from it. I have an HP pavilion and the front of the case slides down to reveal the audio and mic jacks, and I slid it down (for whatever reason) and when I did it went from a slight noise to a loud spinny-clicky noise. I shut down my system and went into my computer and messed with the tightness of the screws and everything to the new HDD, turned it back on while it was still on it's side and it made no noise. I turned it off, put it back into my desk and plugged everything back in and it did the same noise when it started up. I repeated the process of fiddling with the HDD within the dock, started it up again and it's been fine so far. My friend told me to go into the properties of the drive and go to tools > error checking > check and it scanned and found nothing wrong with the drive internally. This is very bizarre to me and I'm pretty concerned about it. Is my hard drive damaged or was it just mounted wrong?

Solution
Some noises from mechanical drives (SSD's have no moving parts so they don't make any noise) is normal. Excessive noise is not. If it makes extremely loud spinning noises that can be heard over fans, loud clicking like two large marbles being clacked together or if it excessively vibrates the tower, there could be a problem with the drive or a mounting issue.

Run Seatools for windows. If it passes the short DST and the long generic, it's most likely fine.

I ran both scans and they both passed, I guess it was just a mounting issue. Thanks for the help
