Hey!
I'm having some serious issues when playing BF4. My FPS is almost always below 60, and running a 144Hz monitor turns that into a serious problem, especially considering my settings being set to low. The game is running in fullscreen and with V-Sync turned on, if that helps you isolate the problem.
According to the task manager, my CPU is around 90+ % at all times. Obviously, this bottlenecks the GPU, making it run at ~50%, which ultimately makes my frame rate lower than it's supposed to be. The game has been running flawlessly up until my latest install. I went on a hiatus for a couple of months, but when the latest DLC was released I decided to install it again. I'm beginning to think it might have to do with the game, rather than my hardware, but considering most people with similar rigs can run it just fine it might be something else. I don't know.
Also, the game is installed on my Samsung EVO 840, running the latest update.
All drivers are up-to-date.
My rig:
8 GB RAM
i5 4670k
GTX 780
MSI PC-Mate z87-G41
Samsung EVO 840
