I own an Alienware x51 R2 and recently got a new gpu for Christmas. I knew that i had to update the bios, so before i even touched the new gpu, i updated the bios, followed the steps, restarted my pc and then this message pops up, "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." I have seen this is an issue when you install new parts to a pc, but i haven't installed anything into it yet. I just updated the bios normally and this came up. My friend also updated his bios after he already he installed his new gpu but it didn't happen to him. Any help would be appreciated to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Due to the update it might not recognize the Harddrive anymore, try booting it from cd/usb with any bootable linux(recommended) version. Then see if your harddrive is recognized in the explorer(maybe unreadable due to security), if not you have probably flashed your bios the wrong way.
