I do not know if I am posting this on the right place so apologies if it's not.

I will be using this mainly for Photo and Video Editing but I will also be doing some gaming on it.

I recently bought the following:
Intel Core i7-4790k
NZXT H440(Red/Black) Case
1TB WD Black
Crucial MX100 256GB
2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600MHz

These items were bundled together so I got them cheaper.

Now I need help filling in the rest of my components, so:

A mother board - Prefer to have Wi-Fi Connectivity
PSU - This is where I am having the most trouble

*Right now, my budget for these 2 items are NZ$500, but less is better.

Some items I plan to add along the way:
GPU - Asus Strix GTX-970 in a month's time
Liquid cooling system - NZXT Kraken X61, will be doing some overclocking one I get a CPU cooler like this or similar

I am wondering if the temporary lack of GPU affect my PSU choices?

The Mobo and especially the PSU for me is hard to decide on. Don't want to risk other components, especially with the PSU.

I would very much appreciate any help here.

That's an excellent build. The case is great, but there are better ones out there, such as the 450D, 300R/400R, Arc Midi R2, and the Enthoo Pro (king of budget cases). All of those cases will allow for better airflow and just better than the H440 imo. There are tons of features the Enthoo Pro has that the H440 doesn't, it's much easier to work in, too. Anyway, the H440 is a sexy case, so if it's for appearance, I'd say go for what you like! But oh yeah since they are bundled, if you're saving the $, get the case cuz I've never seen such a good bundle (except I wouldn't go for a WD Black but a Blue instead). For the MoBo, here are a few good ones...

Out of all of those, I'd say the best one is the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 or the MSI Z97-Gaming 5. As for WiFi connectivity that isn't a feature you should really consider since a lot of them don't have built in wifi adapaters if that's what you mean. Just buy a cheap TP Link WiFi adapter.
For the PSU, you have to choose a GPU first to find out how much wattage you need. If you are set on the 970, then all you need is 500W (ideal headroom included in this amount). Here are the best PSUs around that range:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Those PSUs are very high quality, don't go with Corsair CX or anything like that, they are inferior in quality compared to those.

I forgot to say thank you KingSaif :)

UPDATE:

Successful first build! Parts arrived on the 12th and I jumped straight into it ALONE :D
I changed some of the components as they weren't available.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 --> Gaming 7
Corsair Vengeance Pro 1600MHz --> Kingston HyperX Savage 1600MHz

A also went ahead with a bigger PSU than your recommendation for my future self, in case I SLI 970s or something like that. The price difference is about $15 so no big deal.

No Graphics card or aftermarket cooling yet but here she is now ( Forgot to do solo shots so please ignore the PS3 :D )

wow I gotta say ur build looks BEAUTIFUL, i always loved the look of the h440 (the razer edition is the sexiest case imo)!!! Awesome job bro :) hope u enjoy ur new build, reading ur post reminded me of when i got my parts the other month for my build and was sooo excited (funny thing just like u my GPU came a few days late so i was stuck using the onboard graphics on mobo)

also great choice on getting the higher wattage psu, if u know ure gonna sli then its definitely the best option to plan in advance cuz u will end up saving a lot of money. glad i could help and once again hope u enjoy that beauty :)
