How is my build? Please let me know

Solution

The choice comes down to: fast panel for shooters (TN panel like the Asus one) or still decent speed but better details (IPS panel like the Acer). Also, it is very unlikely to get a good 27" for under $200 so I only listed 24" monitors. Here are two good choices for the price. Asus is 2ms, and Acer is 5ms.

Monitor: Asus VE247H 23.6" Monitor ($129.99 @ NCIX US)
Monitor: Acer H236HLbid 60Hz 23.0" Monitor ($149.99 @ Best Buy)

That looks like a good PC made with top notch parts, The RAM if you ask me is overkill. You can get a similar 8GB kit for half the price. Of course you can keep the dominator plats too. I have 6GB in one of my rigs (3x2GB) and they overclock very nicely. Perhaps the best memory, but the philosophy for most when it comes to RAM is if it works then it works, no need to buy the more expensive RAM.

Thanks for the replies that you guys have sent me. I wanted to use this build for kind of hardcore gaming. EX. Assassin's Creed Unity and other high end games.

Are you going to use a 1080p or 1440p monitor? Also, it looks like you might SLI in the future so you might want a better mobo.

This build is the same price as yours but you will game at higher settings. And if you add a second GPU you'll do so with a good motherboard; which can also overclock well.

For 1080p gaming you could bring your budget down a bit. I did notice one mistake on my above build post. The WD HDD should be 7200rpm not 5400rpm. There is a difference. Also, switch to Windows 7 Home. No need to buy that other edition.

Depends on size and usage. 24" or 27". Do you want fast gaming like shooters or slower better details like Skyrim and such? What's monitor budget?
