Bent Piece of motherboard

So I have a Z97AR, I was handling it when I felt my grip slip a little and the piece above the cpu bent some, I bent it back and it seems fine but I have to admit I am scared about turning it on.

If it is damaged will it damage any f my other parts should I try and turn it on?

Should I just buy a new MOBO?

on this image are you talking about the locking arm on the cpu holder itself?? that part there just to help keep the cpu from falling out of the slot.

No, it is the rigid looking piece above the 1R2 squares,

thsoe are heat sinks for the vrm of the mb. if you bent jut the metal your fine. it just a fin. as you can see there screwed down and can be removed if they need be.

the heat sink is glued on to the vrm chips with thermal paste. google asus vrm to see what the little chips under the heat sink look like. you have to pull the heat sink a lot off the mb to damage the chips under it.
