So i went to boot up my computer the other day and when i did i got a weird message that said unable to boot from this drive or something like that so i had to go into the bios menu to boot it, that was the only way i could get it to boot up but now every 15 minutes my computer will freeze i can still switch tabs and stuff but any games i am playing will completely freeze with looping music and any videos i am watching will stop playing and start loading. This happens for about 30 seconds to one minute then it goes away but always comes back.

This is not a CPU issue.

What version of windows are you running.???
Are you able to boot in safe mode with out any issues.???
Are you getting any type of Blue screen code.???
When did this start happening.???
Did you download any thing lately with out scanning it.???

smorizio This does not sound like a ram issue either.

Ok let's start by running check disk to see if there are any errors on drive.

Let's Go into safe mode keep pressing F8 be for you enter windows.Let's use regular safe mode for this.

Here's way to open a Command Prompt window: Click the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the Search box, type Command Prompt,or CMD and then, in the list of results, double-click Command Prompt.

A little black box will pop up.

Now in the black box

Type or past this be low.

chkdsk /r

You can right click in the black area to past items. It will ask you a question.press Y for yes. Then reboot system.

Edit:This might take a while depending on how much stuff you have on your system.

Sorry for the delay.I have been busy.

Are you still having issues.

Do you know what kinda hard drive it is.???
How many hard drives do you have 1 or 2 or 3.????

Ok so let's try this.

Dissconnect All the hard drives power corde and the IDE or stata cable. From both hard drives and mother board. Then turn system on for a few seconds go into bios and make sure you go all of your drives.Pressing F8 or Delete which ever kinda system you got. Then reconnect the windows hard drive only and see if it reboots.

I have to do this some times with my system.

(Side Note)
If it is a Sata drive then you must enabled SATA controller is enabled and that the SSD is set as the first boot device unless you want the CD/DVD drive as the first. (Not IDE or RAID unless you are in fact using those types of hard drives.)
