So i bought a Asus MB and built a computer around it, everything with the build went fine, I installed my windows 7 and when I put in the DVD that came with the MB it had all the drivers on there except the audio drivers. I found it weird but I just downloaded it off of Asus's website so it wasnt a huge deal.

here is my build:
i3-4150 3.5ghz dual core
Asus H81M-D Plus micro ATX LGA 1150
2x G Skill ripjaws x series 4gb DDR3-1600

Everything else works like a champ but the audio doesnt work. when I plug my USB headset in the volume icon on the bottom right starts working and I can hear sound in the headset. But when I plug my sub-woofers and speakers into the back I see the red x by the volume icon.

I already tried reinstalling the driver multiple times, I tried reformatting windows again, and nothing worked.

Here is a picture of the Device Manager page and what it says about my Audio stuff

The weirdest part is when I look into the realtek audio drivers section after i've installed it this is all thats in the folder

Please help me, I have looked all over the internet with no success. I have already been in the bios and enabled the audio so I have no clue why nothing is working. Someone said it could be older parts and that i would need to buy a sound card. But that doesnt sound right to me, but I would buy one if necessary

- Right click My computer - properties
- click device manager
- disable "AMD High Definition Audio Device" on your Device Manager
- restart your computer
