Overclocking GT 840M?

Hi,
I recently acquired an Acer Aspire V3-572G laptop with an i5-4210U and a GT 840M for work and gaming. Since I would like to achieve at least 40-50 FPS in BF4, I would like to overclock the 840M. I tried most, if not all, of the overclocking software available (including MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, EVGA PrecisionX and nVidia Inspector), but none lets me increase the GPU's frequency. In Rivatuner's case, the 840M doesn't even show up in its display adapter list. I took a look in the BIOS, but there is no option regarding GPUs there. How would I proceed to overclock that GPU?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. screenshots and videos can be provided if necessary.

I cannot select that option as it's greyed out. Here are some screenshots:

i also have an acer e5-571g model with the same cpu i5-4210u and a nvidia gt840m...i use msi afterburner to over clock it, use forceware 344.75 because the new driver didnt let me overclock it...to enable msi overclocking you have to modify msi.cfg file and open it and search for ''UnofficialOverclockingEULA ='' its blank and you have to add this string it should look like this...

UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it.

i can oc 135 on core clock, and its limited you cant go higher unless you mod the bios which is very complicated...the memory go as high as you want but its not stable...in my case i can go 300 on the memory stable..

i played bf4 when its was free and got 55fps as minimum so its very playable.... settings were everything low with a cfg file with command lines to get even more fps..you need at last 6 gb of ram to play this game i only have 4 gb of ram and it lags occasionally...im not going to buy more ram since i didnt like bf4 anyway...

Try nvidia inspector. Click show overclocking, then select performance level 0 and click unlock max. I tried it, but I think it's useless because it is already running on high frequency without overclocking. You can try it, but don't expect high fps change. Be careful and don't burn your computer!!
