If i want to choose any option which requires UAC options, YES is always grayed out. I am using Windows 7 for less then a year in my new PC, but later on I wasn't able to select YES. I set an admin account but I only see 1 account as SREE and another option where I have to type both username and password. I am unable to download stuff from the internet (which require UAC) or choose any option like the account name or so which requires UAC approval.

situation became worse...
i have followed steps 1-3 but from 4, i didnt reboot... i entered 'net user administrator/ password' then a few more stuff AFTER i had input the password command (starting from my present user-password to step 5 inputs on the same prompt). i rebooted to the original and he problem didnt change, i rebooted again and went to safe mode with commanding prompt but unusually it asked for the administrator password which i couldnt crack :/ PLZ HELP!!

I've deleted your new thread asa duplicate so let's stick with this one.

Go back into Safe Mode and see if y9u can log into the Administrator aaccount without a password. It may never have had one. If you can, go into Control Panel>UAC and turn it off.

Post back with the result you saw when you went back into your own account.
