Hi guys,

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year and all that

So i´ve just replaced my motherboard with an Asrock 990fx Extreme6. My secondary HDD is detected, but my primary SSD doesn't show up then the UEFI setup thing. I haven´t formatted the drive yet because i´m still transferring all the stuff I want to keep. I put it into my brother´s desktop and it was recognised immediately so it is still working great .

The SSD is a Kingston 240gb and the old motherboard was an Asus M5A78LM LE

Let me know if you need the full specs.

Thanks for any help guys!

Solution
M5A78L-M LE is an AMD 760G/SB710 motherboard
990FX Extreme6 is an AMD 990FX/SB950 motherboard

Don't expect the old operating system to work on the new motherboard without a reinstallation of Windows.
