I currently play Minecraft on a old laptop I have which averages a terrible 20-30 fps whilst playing with all the settings on low. I am now looking into moving to other games such as DayZ and Arma 3 but now there is no possible way that the laptop I am using can run them efficiently.

I recently posted on the PcSpecialist forums and someone did create a build for me but have said that there is no way a computer will run it well if it is under £800. I am wondering if there is a cheaper alternative (£500-£650) which will run these games well as well as minecraft. I realise that DayZ is in Alpha still and can therefore not run at 60FPS constantly but I want something that potentially will be able to when the game is fully optimised.

NOTE: I need the monitor included in the price but do not need wireless as I will be using a TP-Link with ethernet cable.

I have very little knowledge when it comes to hardware and would highly appreciate it if someone could help me out!

Thanks :)

Thanks so much for the fast reply! Any idea on benchmarks in terms of FPS on games such as Arma 3? If you don't know that's fine I appreciate it regardless :D

This is really good if he needs windows included.

The R9 270X is different than the R9 285...
