My 18.5 inch HCL monitor, LCD TFT, failed after 5yrs. The monitor failed while I was using the machine for normal tasks. The monitor is showing only different shades of grey now. I tried disconnecting VGA connection to check. Yes, monitor was out. My question here is, will a faulty or bad GPU destroys monitor??
Coz I'm going to buy a new monitor and afraid that it may also fail
