Using the Z87-A and an i3-4150, How do i Update the Bios Without a CPU?

So my friend purchased an i3-4150 and the Z87-A for a new build, and I've read you need a bios update before using the CPU. I've been searching online for a while but i havent really found much on this board specifically. I got up to here but, im not sure which guide to follow, and if there is a video or easier way to do these. Thanks for your help!

With that board you can't. An option would be to order a BIOS chip on ebay and replace the board's one (it's on socket).

Any Z97 board should support it.

2.1.2 of the owners manual shows you the simple solution. Just wanted to update page because I almost had my friend return this board because of the exact same situation. Just read the manual people. Asus will take care of you. Here's the link.
