I bought a Dell Inspiron 11" 2 in 1 and it came with a Celeron N2830 processor. Can I upgrade to a 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-4210U processor (3M Cache, up to 2.7 GHz)??

Hopefully I can. I assume so as they offer it in the Inspiron 7000 series 2 in 1.

Hope I can get some help. I don't mind the price to buy one and upgrade it. I just didn't want the size and everything of the 7000 series model.

Thanks.

HI

You need to run cpu-z or similar to see if cpu is soldered to the motherboard or in a socket and which type of socket ?

Even if it is in a socket the cooling system may need to be upgraded for a much more powerful cpu

See review of this celeron which is related to the Intel Atom
http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Celeron-N2830-Notebook-Processor.112086.0.html

So upgrading to i3 or i5 is very unlikely
