My computer's ethernet connection (I217-V) adapter started experiencing driver or hardware related problems. I tried fixing it by installing new drivers and a few other things but nothing was working. The device status says this device cannot start (code 10). So I went to the store today and bought a wireless usb adapter and plugged it in and it worked for a little while. 10 minutes later the same freaking message came on. The device cannot start (code 10). Thank you so much for your time.
My ethernet and Linksys wireless adapter are both experiencing the same problem. please help.

try hooking the adapter to another computer to see if it will work, if so then the problem is with the first pc. On the first pc make sure all drivers for your mother board are updated.
