First Time Building a NAS?

This is my first NAS build and i don't know if this is the right hardware for a FreeNAS setup. Please let me know if I am making a horrible mistake.

I haven't bought anything yet i just want to know if that is a bad option for a NAS solution.
 
Solution
You don't need another boot drive. You boot off the flash drive. To put another drive in would be a waste of money. The installation instructions explain this.

ZFS would run with 8GB (but don't use deduplication!) - it will run with 4 - but 16 would be better. Maybe start with 8 and plan to increase to 16.

Can ZFS run with 8GBs? Also I have a old 32GB SATA II SSD laying around. Could I use that for a boot drive? I'm a little confused about the USB flash drive. Why exactly is a the flash drive necessary? If have a boot drive, could i not just install FreeNAS or NAS4free onto the boot drive?
