PC turns off after a few minutes

I have a custom built PC and it just started turning itself off after just a few minutes of use. About a month ago I had a strange issue where the PC wouldn't turn on but the mobo light was on, I had the PSU checked and they said it was fine, hooked it back up and its been flawless until today. I started it up and was on it maybe 10 minutes and it powered off, a few seconds goes by and it powers on so I started to use it again and it does the same thing over and over until I finally just unplugged it. I checked the temps through corsair link and my CPU is fine, varying between 27-32c. Parts are:
CPU: I7-4770k
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Formula
RAM: 8GB G Skill Sniper 1600
GPU: Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming
PSU: Corsair HX1050
2x HDDs and a SSD

Any help or input would be very appreciated!

To be certain components are properly installed (this applies particularly to video card and DIMM's), remove them and then reinsert them back firmly into their respective slots.

The other PSU when installed will either confirm or eliminate the Corsair PSU as being faulty. If there are still issues with the other PSU installed, then the motherboard may be faulty. There is no easy test for the motherboard, other than by eliminating other components as possible source of faults.

My cousin is going to bring his PSU over tomorrow night, everything appears to be hooked up properly and no hardware or software changes in quite some time. I was just hoping maybe someone could help point me at other possible issues if the PSU isn't the issue
