Ive tried both Dxtory and Mirillis Action.
I get a solid fps for a while but then it starts to drop up and down, very annoying lag spikes and very noticable.

My PC Specs are:
MSI GTX 970
XFX 550w PSU
Intel i5 3570K
2TB HDD
120GB Samsung EVO SSD
Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212 Cooler
MSI Z77A G43 Motherboard

I get 400Mb/s write speed so it cant be the SSD.

I have a very good graphics card which should run most games on ultra.

The CPU temperates are also at normal levels so it wouldnt be that.

And using shadowplay wont be an option for a while as I cannot split the audio.

Can anyone please help me out. I've so far tested minecraft, advanced warfare and skyrim and its after a few minutes of recording the fps starts to dip.

If you can help it would be very much appricated.

Both of those recorders will dampen your fps. Yeah it's too bad shadowplay doesn't separate the two. I use it but if they did multitrack audio it would be a beast. Also, those other recorders also rely more on your CPU although they are utilizing the cuda cores.. but not nearly as efficient as Shadowplay.
