I recently started building a new PC tonight. Everything was going fine and it booted up perfectly with no issues at all. I was about to put in my windows 7 disk but I forgot I did not plug the disk drive in. So I turned the PC off, plugged in the disk drive and tried turning it on again and now I'm getting absolutely no boot. I am getting a green LED on the mobo and my mouse and keyboard are lit up also. So I am very confused? I triple checked everything.. Cables, standoffs, SATA cables etc etc etc. I even back tracked to how everything was in the beginning and still nothing. Just a green light on the MOBO and my mouse/keyboard lighting up. All responses are welcome and I would greatly appreciate them!

I apologize if this is the wrong section. If a mod is here, feel free to move it :)

specs

MOBO - Asus sabertooth z87
CPU - intel i7 4770k 1150
RAM - 16GB Corsair Dominator
GPU - GTX 780 (The gpu has not been placed in the system yet. I wanted to get everything going before I hooked it up)
Storage - Samsung 840 Evo 250gb and a WD 1TB
PSU - XFX 650w

Well I checked my cables again. And I noticed when I moved my motherboard connector it would power on. So I firmly pressed it and now its booting. But now I'm experiencing a new issue lol. I am not getting anything on my monitor it's just blank. And also my keyboard isn't lit up anymore which is kinda odd also. What could this be?
