1) Once the hard drives are installed, change/update the boot order so that the DVD drive boots first, then SSD. If your motherboard has the option, disable other boot priorities.

2) Install windows clean on the SSD. It'll be pretty obvious which drive to install to when you're in the windows 7 install menu.

3) Let it boot to SSD. You're old drive should be recognized. Your new drive will require going to drive management and creating a new simple volume.

Hi,
How I did it was I unplugged the SATA connector from my old hard drive, then installed my new SSD and booted up the Windows CD and installer. Turn off computer and reconnected the SATA connector to my old hard drive and booted Windows from my SSD. Then in Windows I moved all the stuff I needed to backup from the HDD to the SSD, and then fully formatted my HDD, then moved all the stuff I backed up back to the hard drive. You can also backup your stuff to a USB or CD, because 60GB SSD won't be enough of course. You can also do this using the 2 hard drives; just move all into one and format the empty one, then move stuff back and format the other one.
Hope this helps

OR should I just plug in the ssd in the beginning and do aclean install of windows on it and then connect my old hdd together with the new one. Will the PC automatically recognize all of the above storage devices..My motherboard will be asua-a578lmusb3
