AsRock 990fx extreme 6 and ecc memory

I was thinking in buy this board.
Can somebody help me check if the bios support the option and enable ECC?

If you need a motherboard that supports ecc ram, you need either a workstation or server motherboard. The 990fx extreme series are desktop motherboards and only support non-ecc ram. I don't know of any bios update that changes that.

If you affirm that without probe it doesn't have any value to me... There's lot of unbuffered boards labelled as non-ECC that supports correctly them (and activated). The option appeared in another similar models of Gigabyte when you just plug ECC unbuffered/unregistered dimms on it (I tried that in past).

We all know that the 990FX/990X of ASUS, Gigabyte's and the ASRock Fatal1ty Pro supports ECC...

Would be nice to check the ASRock 990fx extreme6 and ASRock 990fx Fatal1ty Killer too

Do you have any update on the subject? I have the 990FX Extreme 4 motherboard, and I would like to know if it supports ECC memory

From ASROCK specifications the fx990 killer does not list ECC as supported.
