I need to replace my old motherboard and CPU (GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P and AMD FX6300) with my new motherboard and CPU (MSI Z87-G43 and Intel i5 4690k). I realise that some of the drivers will not be recognised, so I am expecting to reinstall Windows 8.1. I have my OS on one of my SSD's. This SSD is used solely for the OS. I also have another SSD for games and a hard drive for everything else. Will I still have all the data on the other SSD and HDD when I reinstall Windows onto the OS SSD? This could be a stupid question but I want to be sure, thanks.

Is there no way to point to them or something? Or any other way that I don't have to reinstall? It's just that I have really bad download speed and it would probably take weeks to get everything back.
Thanks again

Turns out that I didn't have to reinstall the OS. I booted from the OS disc in the optical drive, then it just booted up and everything was as normal. Then later I plugged my HDD and other SSD in. I do have to reinstall the applications, but all the games worked using that tutorial you linked. Thanks again.
