ASUS Z97 BIOS UPDATE (no cpu)

Plannig to build my first PC with Asus Z97 PRO and i7 4790K. This cpu is supported only since 1008 bios version. So can i update bios on this board with no cpu installed? (i know there is a button called "bios flashback" but i`m not sure about it)

I cant tell you about those digits because i haven`t bought mboard yet. As i understand i should follow this intruction ( biosfb ) but instead pressing button on i/o i need to use button on the mboard. Am i right?

Yes. But don't use the Flashback if not needed. Check firstly the digits.
