Im buying a GTX 780. Price is not a factor here. Which card is the best in your opinion?

- NVIDIA GTX 780 Lightning - MSI
- EVGA GeForce GTX 780 FTW 3GB GDDR5 Dual Bios
- EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC (Superclocked) 3 GB ACX - 03G-P4-2784-KR
- MSI Gaming N780 TF 3GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5

I'm going to purchase one of these cards, just need help determining which one is the best to get.

My current build:

CPU: FX-8350
GPU: Radeon 6950
RAM: 24gb 1600 DDR3
PSU: 800w
MOBO: Asrock 970 Extreme3

I enjoy streaming games in 720p so if there is a card that will be best for that, please let me know

Thanks, Nick

pardon me, this may sound very stupid. Is there a difference here because it says 780ti instead of just 780?

I've always bought and used AMD radeons. this is the first time I'm switching over to these cards.

The reason i stated that price was not a factor is because i can get each of those cards listed for $300 used on Ebay. I would like to try and get one because I can trust buying these cards used more so than the radeon series because I'll know they havent been used for mining.

I havent been able to find a GTX 970 for $300 so thats why i didnt list it. otherwise I would buy that card instead. Also it seems that the GTX cards have a much better resale value than the Radeon cards right now. Correct me if im wrong

Ti version is slightly better. A gtx 780 should run all games at around 60 fps at 1080p. Streaming demands more of the CPU than GPU. Of course it depends on what software you use to record/stream. Some software manage to drop fps by almost half. Just for recording. So try a few out. I havent streamed so I dont know about which ones are good. But h26x codec should be fast, since GPU has hardware support.

Hmm, yeah thank you very much. I figured all of these cards would do just fine for my needs. Just wasn't sure If its better to get one of them over the rest. Does one potentially have a greater resale value? I guess if they all perform pretty much the same then maybe I'll choose one based off of its potential resale value. Does one brand tend to resell for a higher value?

Well.... Someone just posted a GTX 970 on Ebay for $300. And i snatched it. So i did go with the 970. Thanks for your responses. I'm glad I came here cause I probably would have just went with the GTX 780 instead. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the GTX series
