So i've just bought a brand new laptop and was hoping that the fps and graphics would be good with the graphic card. The computer apparently has 2 cards or whatever u call them intalled in the laptop (intel graphics 400 and GTX 850M)
Whenever I run LoL in game, I get unstable FPS ranging from 60 to 01. I've even put the game on its lowest settings and the result is still the same. Is there any way I could get a good stable 60 FPS in the game with high graphics?

GPU:Geforce GTX 850M
CPU:Intel i5-4200H @2.80GHz
8GB Ram

Solution

Yeah you are using your 850M for sure.
If you want to be super duper sure:
1 - Click Start and then Control Panel. Select Classic View from the left side of the window.
2 - Double-click NVIDIA Control Panel.
3 - Click View and next Display GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area.
4 - Click the new icon in the notification area. A pop-up will show applications using the NVIDIA graphics...

Pretty weird..
A friend of mine has got a 840m and has stable 60fps on 1920x1080.
Your laptop is probably using the HD Graphics 4600.
Plug the power cord in and see if this helps.

If not:
so right click > nvidia control panel > manage 3d settings and choose the executable. Then select your GPU card for that application. Also add "run with graphics processor" to context menu. Its in the control panel at the top under desktop. check that off. And now you can right click on the application icon and Run with graphics processor > and select your GPU as default. (DO NOT DISABLE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS)

Guys when I use Razor Game booster, I can run LoL on very high with a stable FPS of 60, but does that mean my computer is still using Intel Graphics or my GTX 850M?

If it's running a stable 60 fps, it is (probably) using the 850M.
Too keep it simple, forget what I said before, if this works for you ;)

I doubt it is. I laoded the lol game in the NVidea expereince app. When I was already in game, the fps was about 30 and keeps going up and down. Then when I loaded razor game booster, it instantly jumped to 60 constant. Does this mean Im using the GTX or still using intel? any other way which I can ensure that im using my GTX rather than Intel?
