I have 2*2GB RAM of ZION DDR3 1333Mhz and 1*4GB CORSAIR DDR3 1600Mhz though both of them are running at 1333Mhz as my motherboard doesn't support beyond that! But I want to overclock my CPU by increasing BCLK frequency as a result the RAM Speed will go up. I didn't have any problem with the ZION in overclocking but my questions is Will I have problems if I OVERCLOCK these RAM(s)? Will my computer freeze?

Note:- I will not remove any RAM stick from my mobo.

Hi,

Technically if you m,obo doesn't support frequencies more than 1333, then you cannot overclock it.

If you have the option in bios to overclcok, then your mobo should support more than 1333.

What overclock are you expecting.
Is your cpu oveclcoked ?

Because if you don't overclock cpu then memory overclock is most likely pointless (no or minimal gain)

I just want to know will there be any casualties if I overclock the RAM with CPU as the RAM is of 2 different companies?
