After using the integrated graphics from my a10-6800k apu for a year I decided to upgrade to a discrete graphics card. I kept the apu in as my cpu and installed a club3d Radeon 270. I then booted up and installed Amd Cataclyst and the drivers that came with the cd. It seemed to work and my windows experience index for graphics became 7.9. Games ran with great fps. But for some reason windows itself is running very slowly...Like when I open a window, open a tab on chrome, expand/minimize things. It all lags really bad and i'm not sure why. Is there something I needed to do? Thanks

Simple version:
APU: A10-6800k
GPU: Club-3d r9 270 14series
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 1600mhz 4gb x 2
SSD: Kingston 120 GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB
Psu: Corsair CX430
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75M PRO4+

Solution
Hmm, it might help to uninstall the graphics drivers from your APU if there are any (correct me if im wrong) but other than that you could go check in with someone to double check windows and your gpu for you or there may be some damage... Im not completely sure but the safest option is to get it checked out with someone! Good luck.
