is the amd fx6300 good enough for 720p gaming

im switching my core 2 quad q6600 at 2.4ghz to an amd fx 6300 it will be at stock clocks and the gpu will be the same which is the 750 ti superclocked will i see a good increase while gaming at 720p ?

Yes! definitely, that quad is older tech and cannot perform as well. Most games will run on high or ultra

btw, my 6300 seems to work better with turbo core on and only using 4 cores and I still play most games on ultra
